Hi, I'm Rafiqul — engineer & creator
I'm a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience specializing in scalable backend systems, microservices, and AI-driven applications. I currently work as a Backend Engineer at Tax Star in Dubai, building high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems for UAE tax compliance.
My path into software wasn't the conventional one — I taught myself to code, worked across computer vision, robotics, and enterprise systems in Dhaka, and grew into architecting distributed, event-driven platforms with Kafka, Redis, and Temporal.io. I care most about the parts of engineering where correctness, throughput, and reliability all have to be right at the same time.
Alongside my work, I create programming content on YouTube as Code With Rafiq, where I share tutorials and engineering insights to help other developers level up.
